Lately...

Eli discovered a pile of hats that were on their way to Deseret Industries!
Olivia and I got together to work on projects. All my projects got pushed aside until after the Christmas star rush. It feels good to be working with nice soft felt instead of glass! This was going to be a monster but turned into a doll. Still in the works.
Neglected projects even included meal plans. This one is one of my favorite. Sprouted lentils that are put in the food processor with eggs, onions and bread crumbs and voila lentil burgers! Topped with yogurt dill sauce, yum (see 101cookbooks for recipe)

Long overdue pictures from our trip to Korea!

Buddhist temple amongst the city

Brian and I took a tour of the Demilitarized Zone. Hard hats for the tunnel tour.

I love the Korean temple grounds

Hey look it's Ben and George Burns!
Don't you love drinks with the word "sweat" in them?

Billions of dishes from a tradition Korean dinner

Ben getting fitted for a suit!

Thank you Mom and Dad for showing us the sights, sounds and tastes of Korea! We couldn't have asked for better tour guides!

Birthday Getaway

KODACHROME BASIN has been compared to Yellowstone National Park, but the geysers that were once active here have become massive sandstone chimney spires geologists believe to be solidified sediment that filled ancient springs or geysers and are left standing after the softer sandstone eroded away.
TWO PROFILES

The blanket was brown by the end of the trip!

We hopped in the car Friday evening and headed south to red rock country to enjoy some hiking in the sun! I was worn out after the seven mile hike. Eli took a nap on Brian's back and serenaded us along the way.

Evening Outing

JACOB WAS THE HOST OF OUR EVENING OUT TONIGHT. HE TOOK US TO THE END OF THE PROVO RIVER WHERE IT MEETS UTAH LAKE. IT WAS RAINING AS WE PUSHED OFF INTO THE WATER BUT CLEARED UP BEAUTIFULLY. WE CAUGHT NO FISH BUT WE ENJOYED CALM WATER, DUCKS, MOOING COWS, RAINBOWS AND EACH OTHERS COMPANY!
