Jacob the Beautiful Birthday Boy!

Doesn't Jacob make a beautiful girl! In this picture Jacob is the lone guy among us girls, but as I was thinking about Jacob's ability to be inclusive and accepting of people (as mom talked about in her blog) I see myself as the lone girl among him and his friends. Jacob has always let me tag along whether it be on camping trips or soccer games! Thank you Jacob for including me in all your fun and games! I love you!

My sister Jordan is a great example of someone who lives life passionately and fully! She has the ability to express herself with poetic insight and is able to see life with a balanced vision of spirituality and philosophy. Preparing the Baby Room!

I think we've settled on the name of ELI, and his room has been painted orange and turquoise. Mom and dad gave us the antique dresser and Jordan has given us lots of boy clothes to fill it! Thanks!!

STOCKINGS or lack thereof

Last year we used the cutoff sleaves of a sweater (left over from a project) for our stockings. This year we used these partially made stockings. I've even started stockings for two unborn children! Mom is going to teach me how to do punchhole hooking for the cuffs! The ankles are not quite big enough to stick your fist through so the bottom part of the feet must be filled with tiny gifts, candy or nuts!
